Non-Refundable Donations

All donations made to HekMods are strictly voluntary and non-refundable.

Because a donation is a voluntary contribution towards the ongoing development of our free mods and does not involve the purchase of any digital goods or services, we are unable to process refund requests once a donation has been completed.

Why are donations non-refundable?

HekMods provides all of its content for free. Your support helps cover the costs of hosting, development tools, and the time invested by our team. Once a donation is received, it is immediately allocated to these ongoing project expenses.

Furthermore, since donations do not unlock any special features, roles, or content, there is no "service" that can be revoked or "product" that can be returned.

Chargebacks and Disputes

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute for a voluntary donation is considered an abuse of our support system. In the event of a dispute, we will provide Stripe and relevant financial institutions with documentation confirming that the payment was a voluntary donation as per our Terms of Service.

Exceptions

Exceptions may only be made in extreme cases of proven unauthorized transaction or technical error (e.g., being charged twice for a single donation). If you believe such an error has occurred, please contact us within 24 hours of the transaction.
